Get started
Start your process now. You do not need to configure anything first: describe how your business works, in your own words, and Build AI turns that description into a process that runs from end to end.
- You describe the process — who the customer is, what they fill in, which documents they send, what you check and which document closes the case.
- The AI asks about what was left open — a few fixed questions, then its own questions about your description, each with the reason it is asking.
- The AI proposes a plan — the form, the document types and their classifiers, the workflow with its checking rules, the Word template and the market best-practice research behind the rules, with its sources.
- You approve, and everything is created in minutes. Nothing is created before you approve.
After that the process is yours: you can extend it in the workflow editor — for example with a REST integration to one of your bank's systems — and it runs on its own, from the customer's phone to classification, extraction and checking, the generated document, the electronic signature and the delivery to your system.
The example on this page is the one used throughout: the payroll-deductible loan process of Banco Horizonte, a fictitious bank, for its fictitious customer Fernando Martins, with synthetic documents.
Build AI is in Workflow, under Operations › Build AI, and only tenant administrators can use it. Every field, button and message of the screen is described in the Build AI reference.
1. Describe your process
Build AI works in four steps: Describe, Questions, Plan and Done. In the first one you tell it, in plain language, how the process works: who the customer is, what they fill in and which documents they send. Banco Horizonte also writes down its rules — the name and CPF must match, the payslip must be from the last 60 days, the employer and the salary are checked, and the proof of address must be recent — and how it ends: the loan agreement (a Cédula de Crédito Bancário, CCB) is generated, signed electronically and sent to the credit system. Then fill in the industry, the country, the language of the process and the documents you already know you require, and select Continue.
2. Answer the AI's questions
Before proposing anything, the AI asks. First come the questions it always asks: whether you want a selfie with liveness, whether it may set the main rules according to market best practice (it researches the web and cites every source), whether there is a final document, whether it must be signed and who signs it. Then come the questions the AI wrote for this process, about what your description left open, each with the reason it is asking. Answer them and ask for the plan.
3. Review the plan: form, rules, sources and Word template
The plan shows everything that will be created, before it exists: the proposal form with its document checklist, the document types with the fields to read in each one, the workflow — nine steps for Banco Horizonte — with its checking rules, including the ones the AI added, the Word template of the CCB and the market research behind the plan, with its sources (the central bank, legislation and industry guides). Each document type needs example documents to train its classifier, from the Cogneris library or your own. If something should change, ask for it in plain language; when the plan is right, select Approve and create.
4. See everything the AI created
About two minutes after the approval, the process is ready to use. In each Cogneris module you find what was created: the proposal form in Portal, ready to send by link; the three classifiers in Vision, already trained with the examples, and the fields read from the payslip; the CCB published in Template, with the keys the process fills in; and the published workflow — classify, extract, check, decide, generate the CCB, sign and send — with the checking rules tied to the right document of the checklist and a branch to an analyst when a rule fails.
5. Connect the process to your bank's systems
Build AI creates the flow; you can extend it in the workflow editor. Banco Horizonte needs the customer's available payroll margin, which lives in the payroll agreement system. It creates a reusable connection (the API address, stored once), adds a REST integration after the checking step that looks up the margin by the proposal's CPF, with the salary, the amount and the number of instalments, and tests the call against the API. A new condition in the decision requires the instalment to fit the margin, and the Send step points at the bank's credit system, which receives the approved proposal. Publishing creates a new version: what the AI created and what you added live in the same flow.
6. Watch it run: from the phone to the signature
The process now runs for real. Fernando receives Banco Horizonte's link, fills in the proposal on a phone and sends a driving licence (CNH), the latest payslip and an electricity bill. In the bank's panel the process moves on its own: the documents are classified, the data is extracted, every rule checks out, the margin lookup confirms the instalment fits, nobody needs to review it, and the CCB is generated with the proposal's data. Fernando signs it by e-mail with a verification code, and the approved proposal reaches the bank's credit system — from a text description to a running process, without a line of code.
